Rotation Information
Welcome to the North Hudson Community Action Corporation section of this website! We hope this page will help you with any and all questions that may come up during your rotation at NHCAC.
North Hudson Community Action Corporation was founded as a social services program for Hudson county in 1965 and has been providing medical services for the community since 1994. Over the years, NHCAC has expanded their services to surrounding areas including Bergen and Passaic counties and also has a fully functional mobile health unit that provides health screening services for the community including diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia screenings.
Recognizing the need for primary care for underserved populations in the community, NHCAC offers services in areas such as internal medicine, pediatric medicine, OB/GYN clinic including family planning, psychiatric and mental health services and a new and state-of-the-art dental clinic.
As a TouroCOM medical student, you will serve as an integral part of the medical team, working closely with the physicians and nurses in the clinic. We hope that you will find your time at NHCAC a truly rewarding and educational experience.
